Somatic Breathwork Session (90 Minutes – Virtual or In-Person)

This 90-minute session is offered either virtually via Zoom or in person at the Breathing Barn. You'll be guided through a powerful Somatic Breathwork journey designed to help you release stress, emotions, trauma, and stagnant energy—inviting you to reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence and return to your most authentic self.

What to Expect

Somatic Breathwork is a full-body, immersive experience that uses a circular, connected breathing pattern and carefully selected music to support emotional release. Laughter, movement, crying, shaking, and other spontaneous expressions may arise—these are welcomed as part of your body’s natural process of clearing and healing.

The session unfolds in two phases:

  • Phase 1: Active breathwork using rhythmic breathing and music to release trapped energy and old patterns.

  • Phase 2: A slower, grounding breathwork technique that allows you to reconnect with your truth, set intentions, and envision the life you want to create.

You’ll also have time before and after the breathwork for reflection and integration.

Session Flow

  • 15 minutes – Intake and overview

  • 60 minutes – Guided Somatic Breathwork session

  • 15 minutes – Integration, grounding, and optional sharing

  • Bonus: A 15-minute follow-up call (scheduled 3–5 days after your session)

How to Prepare

To create the most supportive space for your journey, please have the following ready:

  • Water – Stay hydrated before and after your session

  • Headphones – Especially important for virtual sessions to enhance sound immersion

  • Journal – For capturing insights, emotions, or intentions

  • Blanket – To stay warm and comfortable

  • Yoga mat or soft surface – Set up in a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed

  • Room to move – Ensure you can stretch or move freely

  • Comfortable clothing – Wear loose, breathable layers

  • Empty stomach – Avoid eating 1–2 hours before the session

Afterward, allow for some unstructured time to rest, reflect, and integrate your experience.

Somatic Breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your physician(s). Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their physician(s).
